Governor's Office of Health Transformation

www.healthtransformation.ohio.gov

On January 13th, Governor John R. Kasich signed an Executive Order that created the Governor's Office of Health Transformation (OHT). The Office will coordinate the activities and policies of key state agencies, including the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilties, and work closely with families, consumers and a variety of other stakeholders to modernize Ohio’s health delivery system and improve the quality of health services available.

The Office will achieve these goals by leading an initiative to address Medicaid spending, plan for the long-term efficient administration of the Ohio Medicaid program and improve overall health system performance.

In order to provide a portal for information regarding Ohio's health transformation initiatives, the Office of Health Transformation launched a new website. The site, www.healthtransformation.ohio.gov, also provides an opportunity for stakeholders to sign up for e-mail updates and to share ideas about how to modernize Medicaid. Please take the opportunity to look through the site and check back regularly for new information.
